Here are some practices that we recommend never to try in your website: (i.e bad practices)
Cloaking
Cloaking is method that sends a user to a page that was different from the page the search engine ranked. The black hat practice of serving one version of a page to search engine spiders and another version to human visitors is called cloaking.
Duplicate Content:
Duplicate content is listing of identical content multiple times.
Example Scenario: If one website brings profits why not make another one websites with different names and get more sales.
Keyword Stuffing:
Repeating keywords in the Meta tags, and using keywords that are unrelated to the site's content. A lot of web designers seem to like using this trick to gain popularity.
Invisible Text:
Invisible text uses tons of text that are hidden by making them same colour as background in an invisible div, or positioned off screen. A few leading websites in Nepal and India and South Asia, try to use this to gain ranking in google and other search engines.
Creating Door Way Pages:
Doorway pages are simple HTML pages that are customized to a few particular keywords or phrases, and they are programmed to be visible only by specific search engines and their spiders. The purpose of these doorway pages is to trick the search engines into giving these sites higher rankings.
Summary: If you don't want to be blacklisted and banned from search engine rankings, Do not do these tricks, ever!
Once your website is blacklisted, it will never show up in search, thus losing your valuable customers.
