Google Panda

Google Panda is an algorithm added to the Google's PageRank algorithm that evaluates and calculates the quality of the content and the website.
Google Panda determines the quality of the site. This means the quality of our site has to be of higher and better quality for the Google ranking algorithm as well as for our visitors and customers.

Google looks into many factors in determining the quality of the sites. Google has provided guidelines on building high quality website. [http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com.au/2011/05/more-guidance-on-building-high-quality.html]

  • Does the page provide substantial value when compared to other pages in search results?
  • How much quality control is done on content?
  • Does the article describe both sides of a story?
  • Is the site a recognized authority on its topic?
  • Is the content mass-produced by or outsourced to a large number of creators, or spread across a large network of sites, so that individual pages or sites don’t get as much attention or care?
